A survey was held among Benjamin subscribers in 2005/2006. One of the outcomes of this survey was that our readers appreciate the fact that the magazine is free of charge and available for everyone in our target group. We therefore do not charge any subscription fee, but do call on our readers’ generosity. A pre-printed giro card inviting payment is enclosed with the magazine twice a year. Proceeds are entirely used for the production and development of the Benjamin. As the Dutch tax department has qualified JMW as a not-for-profit organisation, all donations transferred to JMW are tax-deductible.
The total cost of publication of the Benjamin (excluding personnel costs) amounted to approximately € 75,000 in 2008. After deduction of income a deficit of € 55,000 remained. Readers’ contributions amounted to € 35,000 in 2008. The final deficit was therefore € 20,000 in 2008.
If you wish to support the Benjamin financially, please make use of the IDEAL safe payment system below. The Benjamin editorial staff would like to thank you very much in advance for your contribution and support.
