JMW is one of the organisations appointed by the government to give advice on legislation relating to victims of persecution.
The Dutch government has enacted legislation which has made it possible to provide benefits to those who had to stop working prematurely as a result of their war experiences. This legislation includes the Victims of Persecution (1940-1945) Benefits Act and the Civilian War Victims (1940-1945) Benefits Act .
Advising, reporting, counselling
JMW is one of the organisations appointed by the government to draw up the social reports which accompany applications for benefits. In addition, JMW can advise clients about their rights in accordance with these Acts and provide counselling during the application process.
